Prism DJs was proud to be part of the Celebrate #APITikTok event, an unforgettable collaboration between TikTok, Disney, and the beloved Lilo & Stitch franchise. Held at The Bungalow Santa Monica, this brand-forward celebration honored Asian and Pacific Islander creators and culture with an evening full of heart, heritage, and high vibes. Representing Prism DJs was the incredible DJ Midi Riperton, who curated the night’s vibrant soundtrack, delivering a mix that honored Polynesian roots while keeping the dance floor buzzing.
Soundtrack for the Soul: Contemporary Island Grooves & Global Rhythms
DJ Midi Riperton spun an uplifting and culturally rich set that included: Contemporary Hawaiian Music, Pacific Islands Pop, Reggae, Dancehall, and World Music, Afrobeats, Afro House, and Tropical House. Even a few iconic Elvis Presley songs—an ode to Lilo & Stitch's love for the King.

And in a beautiful nod to the film, “Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride” by Iam Tongi & the Kamehameha Schools Children’s Chorus played straight from the official Lilo & Stitch soundtrack.
Immersive Brand Experience: From Animatronics to Aloha
The event production was nothing short of magical—truly a model for immersive, branded experiences.
Highlights included: An animatronic Stitch cruising in a kid-sized car to greet guests, A surf-style 3D photo booth, Lei-making station, shaved ice bar, and a poke bowl station, A dynamic performance by Tiana Nonosina Liufau and her band & dancers. The Damminger Productions creative team behind the scenes made the entire experience feel warm, seamless, and authentic—a perfect alignment with the values we support at Prism DJs.

It was also a great night for connecting with talented creators. DJ Midi Riperton reunited with longtime friend and filmmaker @omgadrian, a notable director and educator in content creation. She also met @charlespouono, a Polynesian culture educator whose content is both informative and inspiring.
