In Celebration of Women's History Month, PRISM DJs Pays Homage to Women Bosses

Hi, Friends!

Can you believe it's already March?😮

While the year seems to be flying by, I am certainly not complaining! Because March is one of my absolute favorite times of the year: it's Women's History Month! And a great opportunity (and excuse) to do something I love: highlight, celebrate, and champion women in the music industry and as a whole.💅

And to kick off this month-long celebration of women, I am excited to share some of the women DJ bosses who inspire me to keep striving for more every single day. These women are not only some of the most talented DJs around, but they are also entrepreneurs, marketing executives, and all-around bosses.💼

✨Dazzler - DJ and Operations & Events Manager at Beatsource & DJCity

From Frank Sinatra's Beverly Hills Estate, The Dolby Theatre, and loftSEVEN Penthouse, to events in Austin, Las Vegas, and New York City, Dazzler has provided the sounds at some of the most visited and talked-about venues and parties in major cities nationwide. The multi-faceted DJ and MC is a force of nature with a reputation for going against the grain, introducing and re-introducing sounds that please the crowd. For Dazzler, music, and Deejaying is life; when she's not dazzling crowds from the turntables, you can find her managing operations and events at Beatsource, a music streaming platform for DJs.

✨Sed "The Saint" - DJ + Co-Founder & CEO of Stagewing App

Sed "The Saint" creates soundtracks for memorable events and unforgettable experiences. A talented open-format DJ with over 15 years on the music scene, Sed has played at major events, including Essence Music Festival, March for Our Lives Atlanta, Power to the Polls Women's Rally, Human Rights Campaign (HRC) events, and the annual summer art show ARTiculate ATL. With the launch of StageWingâ„¢, the world's first online DJ gear and equipment sharing network, Sed "The Saint" is helping DJs access the tools and community they need to grow and thrive.

✨Frazier Davis - DJ + VP of Operations at a Marketing Technology Company

In 2017, Frazier Davis was the first-ever female competitor in the US Red Bull 3Style DJ Competition, where she finished in 2nd place. The Los Angeles-based DJ and Producer started the Bi-Weekly Wednesday Service: Thots & Prayers party at the Dime in LA and an official KiddNation DJ for 106.1 Kiss FM's Kidd Kraddick Morning show with TheRadioDJs. Frazier Davis has played fundraisers for #BlackLivesMatter, the LA Regional Food Bank for the Kardashian-Jenner foundation, a voter awareness campaign for #BidenHarris, and the San Francisco Pride Women's Stage. Frazier Davis is also a member of our Prism DJs team, and I could not be more proud!

📣Beyond the Turntables

In celebration of Women's History Month, PRISM DJs and skincare company Rescue Skin will host a month-long campaign that highlights women DJs and share: their experiences working in the male-dominated music industry, how they take care of their skin while working in an environment that requires putting their best face forward and women empowerment.
